Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Vinozo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms incorporate and extend Apple's End User License Agreement (EULA) for apps distributed through the App Store. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Apple EULA

Licensed Application End User License Agreement

This App is licensed to you under the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ . The following additional terms supplement and modify the Apple EULA specifically for Vinozo.

Subscription Services

Vinozo offers premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions managed by RevenueCat and processed through the Apple App Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following terms:

Subscription Plans

  • Weekly Plan: Billed every 7 days
  • Monthly Plan: Billed every month
  • Annual Plan: Billed once per year (best value)

Auto-Renewal

  • All subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • The renewal charge will be the same as your initial subscription price unless we've notified you of a price change

Managing Your Subscription

  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID Account Settings
  • Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • You'll continue to have access to premium features until the end of your paid period

Free Trial

  • New users may be eligible for a free trial period
  • If you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon subscription purchase

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through the Apple App Store. Vinozo uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements and provide a seamless subscription experience. We do not store or have access to your payment information.

Secure Payment Processing

Your payment details are handled entirely by Apple. RevenueCat only manages subscription status and entitlements, ensuring your premium features are properly activated and maintained.

Refund Policy

All subscription purchases are final and processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple through their support channels. Apple's refund policies apply to all subscription purchases. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.

Premium Features

Subscription to Vinozo Premium unlocks:

  • Unlimited wine collection storage
  • Advanced AI wine analysis and recommendations
  • Detailed tasting notes and flavor profiles
  • Food pairing suggestions
  • Price tracking and purchase alerts
  • Export capabilities for your collection
  • Priority customer support
  • Ad-free experience

Account Restoration

If you've previously purchased a subscription, you can restore your purchase on any device using the same Apple ID. Use the "Restore Purchases" button in the app settings to reactivate your premium features. RevenueCat ensures seamless restoration across all your devices.

Use of the Service

You agree to:

  • Use Vinozo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
  • Be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction
  • Not use the App to promote excessive or irresponsible alcohol consumption
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Vinozo, Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Wine information, ratings, and reviews you create remain your property, but you grant us a license to use this content to provide and improve our services.

User Content

By submitting content to Vinozo, you:

  • Retain ownership of your wine ratings, notes, and collection data
  • Grant us a non-exclusive license to use your content to provide services
  • Confirm your content doesn't violate any third-party rights
  • Understand that you can delete your content at any time

Disclaimer of Warranties

Important Notice

Vinozo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of wine information, recommendations, or analysis. Wine preferences are subjective, and our AI recommendations are suggestions only. Always consume alcohol responsibly and in accordance with local laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vinozo, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising from your use of the App.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. Subscription fees are non-refundable upon termination for Terms violations.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of Vinozo after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.

Third-Party Services

Vinozo integrates with third-party services including Apple App Store for payments and RevenueCat for subscription management. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
